My busy week!

Boy, did I have a busy week! Don't believe me? Well, just take a look at these!

Mama let me have some ice cream!

MMMM! Tasty chocolate and vanilla :)

Then, Papa let me help cook dinner! I make a mean turkey burger!

So, of course, I had to take my skills to my own kitchen in the playroom.

On Saturday, I went to my friend Jessica's birthday party at Little Gym!

I can't believe someone put me inside this doughnut!

Hi Jessica and her Mom!

Papa, can you please rescue me out of this doughnut!

OK, it's fine now that all of the rest of the kids are here :)

Jessica had lots of cupcakes!

That's my friend Roxy!

Look out Celtics!

That's right, Mama. I'm in control!

Oh yeah, I'm a high flyer!

Just wait until the Summer Olympics of 2024!

Maybe I'll play some hoops too!

After all that, I was tired. Did I forget to mention that my carseat now faces forward in the car?

J-E-T-S!!! I saw Brett Favre throw his first TD pass for the Jets Saturday night :)

Whew!!!!! I'm off to sleepies. Sunday, I get to see the fishes and penguins at Mystic Aquarium. YEAH!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

After a doctor's visit on Wednesday, here's the vital info you need to know about ME :)

Height: 29 inches

Weight: 21lbs 12.5oz.

I'm doing very well thank you kindly!

I also got two shots, which I did not enjoy at all. But at least I got to see my new friends "Fishes" at the doctor's office.

Cumberlandfest

After a rainy Friday night at Cumberlandfest, we tried again on Saturday night. Mama and Papa brought me to the festival along with Nana, Grandpa, Auntie Debbie, Kayla, Katie, Jenna and Brooklyn.

First, we had some dinner while listening to some tunes!

Then, I went on my very first pony ride with Papa. My horsie's name was Mama Rosa!

Grandpa and Brooklyn took the ride with us!

I liked it so much, Papa let me ride again. This time, my horsie's name was Chelsia.

Mama, can I please ride the train? I have my ticket all ready :)

Mama's so nice! She rode the train with me. YEAH!

I can't wait to go to my next festival!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Ruby Tuesday Dining Review...

So last week we went to Ruby Tuesdays after a fun filled adventure at Slater Park (cool park but not enough little kid swings.)

So when we arrived at Ruby Tuesday’s we were seated very quickly. (Dinner time comes early for me – 5pm.) The hostess gave me my own coloring book and a set of crayons. YEAH! I love when I get art supplies before dinner.

Mama went to the salad bar and picked out a bunch of stuff for me – peas, cucumbers, cheese, ham – it was great – lots of food and no waiting. I really like the cold peas – which mama wasn’t sure about – so now peas are almost on my menu daily mixed in my corn.

For dinner Papa ordered a hamburger, plain of course, with fries. Mama ordered a turkey burger with fries. I got to try both of those burgers – I liked the turkey one better. Mama and Papa even let me try a few french fries – yummy – but I liked the hamburger buns better than the fries. The hamburger buns were wheat – they were yummy – Papa didn’t touch him – so there was plenty of hamburger bun for me.

There were only two negatives to Ruby Tuesday the day we were there. 1. Our waitress was slow in the end. I wanted to get home and take a bath and she was no where to be found. So the bill took a little while to arrive. And the second issue – Baby, It’s Cold Inside, I haven’t been that cold since February. We even warned a family as we walked back to the car, “Bring your sweater to Ruby Tuesday.” They like their air conditioning on the frigid side.

So yes, 15 month old diners – go to Ruby Tuesday – you can color, draw, eat all you want from the salad bar – order a turkey burger with veggies on the side – and remember your sweater.

Till next time. (Chelo’s turkey dinner review coming soon.)
Hugs

My friend, Sammy the Squirrel

Mama and Papa let me help out and feed my friends, Sammy the Squirrel and the birds. They liked their breakfast so much that they told all their friends to come to our backyard to eat!

I'm all ready for school! Mama gave me this cool backpack!

And of course, I love my cups!

I'll try to post some more later :)

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

It has been a long but fun day for me... as you will see below...
Better details to follow on Friday... I need to go to bed now -

The day started with a Play date at Brianna's

Luke was there too.

Brianna and Kaitlyn (Auntie Tricia did I spell that right?)

Luke got caught in the net :)

I got to drive a car!

Brianna was sitting pretty.

I went home and took a nap then Papa, Mama and I went to Slater Park to play at the play ground.

There we met Mister F.L. Ant
I climbed the rock wall.
I went down the slides.

And we visited the geese.

Then we went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday (dining review will come tomorrow.)

What do you want off the kids menu?

And I ended the night with a duck party -

Mom - should you be taking photos of me in the bath tub???

I am wiped out friends and family.

More tomorrow.

hugs!
Abbie

Mama and Papa's Concert

So, while I spent my Saturday with Grandma, Auntie Trudy and Shawn going to Friendly's, shopping and playing at the house, Mama and Papa spent the day with Kenny Chesney and some of his friends in Foxboro. I had to get into the right mood before they left though!

I'm such a cute little cowgirl, huh?!

Meanwhile, Mama and Papa played a mean game of washers before the concert. I think I could beat them both, though!

You can see all the pictures by clicking right here! Plus, Papa has a bunch of videos from the concert on his blog too or on my You Tube video page.

I can't wait until I can go with them to a future Kenny concert too!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Review time - Uncle Tony's & Toe Jam Band

So as you read from my earlier post – Tuesday night was a fun filled evening. It started when mama came home early from work. We had planned to attend a concert that night – but the idea of dinner out was a surprise to me. I was very excited – I love to go go go.

So we decided to go to Uncle Tony’s – YUM! We were seated fairly fast – that was good b/c I was HUNGRY! I started out eating bread and cucumbers – their bread was very yummy – I ate that all thru dinner. Papa ordered the chicken parmesan and mama ordered the baked scrod. While I waited for dinner papa pulled out the crayons and I ate my bread and drew some pictures.

When dinner arrived the waitress warned us that the plates will be HOT. So everyone made sure the plates were way far away from me – I promise I would not have touched them.

I had lots of chicken parm and the baked scrod. Both were yummy. There was lots of cheesy goodness on the chicken. I was very glad that papa shared with me. Mama’s baked scrod was nice and light and the crunchy topping was tasty – I wish there was more of it J The pasta was a bit to al dente for me – so I didn’t get to eat any pasta – but that was ok – I was content with the chicken, fish, and bread.

We left Uncle Tony’s and headed to Slater Park. I was surprised to see how many kids were at the park for the concert. And guess what!? My boyfriend Ben was there too! Our mommies and daddies put two blankets out for us to hang out on and we looked around while we waiting for the music. I tried to make a break for it – I wanted to meet some of the other kids – but Mama wouldn’t let me off the blanket L

When the concert started – it was so much fun. The band played lots of funny silly music. Their name is Toe Jam Puppet Band. (if you click their name you can get to their website.) The band asked us to wiggle our fingers, to dose si doe, to dance FASSSST, SLLOOOOW and STOP. It was a lot of fun. I was laughing as Mama and Papa danced with me. We had to leave at 7pm b/c I was getting tired – that is a late and exciting night for me… and Papa had a hair cut scheduled for 8pm with Auntie Monica.

So all in all I would recommend everyone to eat at Uncle Tony’s and to check out the Toe Jam Puppet Band (esp kids a little older – like 6-8 – I laughed but I couldn’t do all the stuff they asked you to do just yet – but some day!)

Stay dry – they keep bowling up in heaven - I heard it today – I hope everyone gets strikes.

Happy Dining and Dancing!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Tuesday night fun

Tuesday night, Mama and Papa took me out to dinner and some fun music at the park. I got to eat at Uncle Tony's in East Providence (yummy!)...

My review is coming shortly!

After dinner, we went to Slater Park in Pawtucket to see the Toe Jam Band for the very first time.

My friend Ben and his Mom and Dad met us at the park too! We both love our Cheerios!

More to come later with my full review of Uncle Tony's.

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Family Research...

So Mama sent out letters to cousins, Aunties and Uncles this week looking for any information they have on the Bakken / Correia family history.

So some of the new visitors to my website might be family members - WELCOME! I hope we can meet soon. I can't wait to see what everyone sends back to Mama about the family history. She told me she is going to make me a book about the family for me to have when I get older :)

So this weeks update... quiet Monday and Tuesday - wednesday is scheduled to be quiet also. Thursday is my girls night with Mama (Papa is heading to PawSox to see Big Poppy play.) Friday will be another relaxing night too. I like quiet nights b/c then I can play my favorite game with Mama and Papa. I take the plastic ballies - bring them to the kitchen - drop them under the table and watch Mama and Papa climb under the table and get them for me. (over and over again).

I hope all of you have a great week.
Hugs
Abbie.

Abbie's fun-filled week

Friday, Mama took me to work! I thought I was just going to have some fun, but she put me straight to work!

On Saturday, Mama and Papa took me to Leigh and Brian's party down in South County. I even got to play washers. I scored a lot of points!

After playing that much, I needed a tall, cool drink!

Leigh, where did you get all those wiffle balls? Can I play with all of them!!!!

Finally, after a long day of play, it was time for a duck party, complete with a really cool mohawk :)

Nighty - night!

Hugs,

Abbie :)
