Memories for Memorial Day

My first (and only) Memorial Day weekend as a one-year old was a very busy one. We started it out on Saturday afternoon by going to our friend's Kristy's birthday. And guess what? I got proposed to! Yup, but I have to wait until my new beau is 39..ha ha ha.

Saturday night, Mark JR., Uncle Joe and Auntie Monica came over to watch the Celtics romp over the Pistons. Yeah Celtics!

Then after a trip to my favorite store, Babies-R-Us to pick up some fun toys and clothes for yours truly on Sunday, we had a big cookout at Nana and Grandpa's house. It was alot of fun since I got to stay outside for a long time and play in the cool house in the backyard too!

On Monday, it was off to Mystic, Connecticut for my first trip to Mystic Aquarium to see my new water friends. I even touched a starfish. How cool is that :)

Hey, my name is Splotchy

Yes, Abbie is Splotchy on this Sunday. Apparently, I don't like scrambled eggs so I'm having a not-so-nice reaction to them. I'll keep you posted.

In better news, Mama went to Boston (without me, but it's ok) to tase some yummy chocolates!



Papa took me to go open Nana and Grandpa's pool while Mama was eating her tasty treats. Someday soon, I'll be swimming just like I was at Disney!

Well, I have to get my beauty rest now since it's a big week for Mama and me as we are entertaining the girls of book club on Tuesday night. Nighty-nite :)

Thank you to all my family and friends who came to my first birthday party Saturday! I had tons of fun and enjoyed all my presents :)

The rain even stayed away so that all my friends could play outside on my new swingset. We also played in my new playroom that is now filled with all my latest toys.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Yes, it's true! I am a whole one years old now! Mama and Papa brought me to see Grampa down at Disney World in Florida. I survived my first plane ride and I got to see my friends Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Jojo, Goliath and the Little Einsteins. And guess what? It's not over. I get another birthday party on Saturday. Yeah me!!!

Sunday snooze

After a busy Sunday morning, I slept for almost 3 hours this afternoon! I was tired :). Looking for a new swing set is very hard work for me, Mama and Papa. We hope to find one soon!

My Red Sox won today scoring all six runs after I woke up from my afternoon slumber! I was the lucky charm, of course :)
