Sun Flowers for Wishesl

Today, Mama and Papa went for a long ride to Griswold, CT. Yes, it was our first ever visit to Griswold, CT!

There, we visited Buttonwoods Ice Cream and their huge Sun Flower Fields. You could say it was Sun Flower Fields forever! (Mama and Papa tell me that's a Beatles reference!)

We took lots of pictures, bought some sun flowers and had my first chocolate milkshake! All proceeds from the hayride and the sale of the sun flowers benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Connecticut as part of the Sun Flowers for Wishes program.

Lots o' fun in the water!

What better way to spend a warm Sunday afternoon than in the water with my cousin Brooklyn, right?! Well, that's exactly what I did as Mama and Papa took me to Nana's house to see everyone.

Check out all the fun we had!

Can't wait to get back to the "beach" and the pool again!

Fun at the Festival

Saturday, for the first time ever, Mama, Papa and Grandma took me to the East Providence Festival. Lots of rides, tasty food and games for us to play. We met some new friends and got to listen to some really funky music too!

One thing though...I was too short for most of the rides. BOOO!!!! I just wanted to ride the truckies...PLEASE!!!

Anyway, I did get to ride the train though. All aboard!

Mama says she's the leader of this train!

Oh yeah, did I mention I took all of Mama's water, too :)

Thanks, Mama! I even got to meet Smokey the Bear!

He was very nice :)

Happy Birthday Brianna and Kaitlyn!

Saturday, we got to celebrate my friends Brianna and Kaitlyn's birthdays with a party at Auntie Tricia and Uncle Brian's house. Brianna is turning three while it's Kaitlyn's first birthday.

We had lots of fun playing with everyone including a ton of fun in the sand box! And I even had time to put on this little performance with a cool guitar/golf club. Check it out!

We'll post more pictures over the weekend. So stay tuned!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Fun Filled Friday.

So it has been a while since I posted - sorry - it has been a busy week. 4th of july, Sunday with Mama and Papa, Monday a play day with Papa and then Tuesday Papa went back to work, I started hanging with Nana and Brooklyn. So I have lots to recap with all of you. But before I go back - I am going to tell you about today.

Auntie Jenny is in town this week - so Mama took the day off from work and we had a playdate with Auntie Jenny, Myrissa and Kalissa. After meeting up at their house, we drove to the Children's Museum. There we played in the water room and all other rooms. For the first time ever I had Little Woods all to myself for a few minutes! that was cool!

After the museum we walked over to Stanley's Burgers. There we got a big booth for the five of us and ordered drinks and lunch. It was yummy! I had a hot dog and chocolate milk. Also, Kalissa shared her onion rings with me --- YUMMY!!! I eat the coating on the onion rings - then I put the onion itself on the plate with the french fries :)

After Stanley's we went for a ride to North Providence to check out Sprinkles Fine Desserts --- I was alseep before we got on the highway :) but Mama picked up cupcakes for me, papa, and herself. I ate half of mine when we got home. It was very tasty - but I didn't eat the frosting - I don't like frosting - I just like plainecake :)

After all of the fun we had with Auntie Jenny and the girls. Mama and I ran a couple of errands and then we went home to wait for Papa.

Mark Jr came over after work and when Papa got home we jumped into the car and went to the Paw Sox game. I had a blast walking around the park and checking out the firls. Here is a photo of me sitting in the stands at the stadium.

Well it is lae and has been a LONG day for me - so I am off to bed. Sweet Dreams all.
love and hugs,
Abbie

July 3rd FUN!!!

Heading into the holiday weekend, our Ohana had a little Friday fun with an adventure around the state.

We were supposed to go to a farm in Glocester, but unfortunately two things happened. One, I fell asleep on the way there in the car and two, there were lots of "bowlies" (i.e. thunderstorms) as well.

So, instead of going to the farm, we stopped in downtown Providence for some tasty lunch at Johnny Rockets.

Oh yeah, Ferb ate with us too!

See, there's that pesky rain! Thankfully, it stopped long enough for us to head to Slater Park in Pawtucket. Lots of animals for us to see!

Plus, a stop at the Wishing Well!

And time to play too!

Then, at the end of the day, we got to watch all the animals go back inside to eat and lay down for their nappies.

Another fun day is on tap for the 4th of July too! Can't wait to show you that fun too :)

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)
