The Night Before Christmas

Are you as excited as I am for Christmas? Just a few more hours before Santa arrives! You can see just where Santa is right now here!

Don't forget to leave out your milk and cookies for Santa plus some carrots and reindeer food for the reindeers :)

Tonight, Mama and Papa will read "Twas The Night Before Christmas" to me before bedtime. If you want to watch the original Disney video of "Twas The Night Before Christmas," you can see it right here.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Gitchi Gitchi Goo Song

Mama and me just love this song from "Phineas and Ferb" on the Disney Channel.

Very catchy, isn't it!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Christmas comes early continues....

Much like our tradition of "Birthday Weeks," it seems as if we are continuing with a "Christmas comes early week!" Believe me, I don't mind.

Saturday, after a trip to the doctors to find out that I have an ear infection, Uncle Chris and Auntie Carly came over to bring me my Christmas presents, YEAH! But, before you can see what they got me, check out me being sick on the couch :(

Now, onto the gifts! I love my new Pizza Pie Elmo! Elmo and Mr. Pizza sing to me now :)

And now, I can play at my favorite mouse's house, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

Thank you very much to Uncle Chris and Auntie Carly for my presents. I hope Santa brings you everything you've wished for this Christmas. But, remember you have to be good because Santa is watching you!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Christmas comes early

It was a very busy Holiday weekend. On Saturday morning, Mama gave me a special delivery I got from the North Pole! Mrs. Claus had sent me a letter telling me that I had been a good girl so far this year. She also mentioned to me to leave milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve as well as carrots for all the reindeer.

After breakfast, we all went to a Christmas Party with Uncle Ralph at the FOP in Warwick. There, Santa gave me a new wooden puzzle that I played with right away. After the party, I went to Nana and Grandpa's to hang out with Brooklyn while Mama and Papa got in some good quality shopping time.

On Sunday (Sunday, Sunday!), we got together with Brooke and Rachel, Melinda and David to exchange Christmas presents. They gave me new markers and big coloring book which I've already started to color in!

The Holidays continue this weekend with Uncle Chris and Auntie Carly plus Grandpa comes in from Florida to spend Christmas with us.

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Abbie, yogurt and Luke Bryan

OK, everyone by now knows that I like Luke Bryan's new song "Country Man." But, did you know that Papa now has it as a ringtone for his phone? Well, I didn't either until he played it for me while I was eating my yummy yogurt! Want to know what happened next? Just watch for yourself :)

I wonder what song I'll like next, huh?!

Hugs and kisses,

He's lots of fun and talks to me while I clean the floors for Mama :)

Can't wait for Christmas and Santa to come!

Hugs and kisses,

Abbie dances to Luke Bryan!

Just in case you missed it, one of my new favorite songs is "Country Man" from Luke Bryan. Don't believe me? Well, Mama and Papa made these two nifty videos of me dancing with Luke, the band and the piggies! Don't worry, you'll see what I mean.

I hope you liked it :)

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

Abbie goes to the Hall!

Papa and I went for a little road trip to see our friend Mr. Bryan Morry up at the Hall at Patriot Place. Do yourself a favor and go up and check it out. It's really lots of fun! Here's the website to see what you're missing.,

Papa let me run around looking at all the high tech video screens and exhibits. Everytime I heard the Patriots score, I put up my hands to show everyone TOUCHDOWN.

I even got to try and kick a field goal! It was awesome.

Off to nappies now and then off to shopping!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

An adventurous Monday

See me? Don't I look like such a sweet and innocent little girl?

Well, of course I am. But, aside from my naturally charming good looks and sparkling personality, I managed to make Monday a mischievous one for Papa and me.

Now, don't get me wrong, everything turned out ok, but it was a little hectic there for a bit. Papa and I had decided to put up the Christmas lights on the tree. I, of course, was helping and Papa let me roam around our front room, office and all the hallways in-between to help get things for us.

Well, if you don't already know, I like to close doors! During one of my many runs through the house, I decided to go into the bathroom and close the door. Just one problem: this time, I locked the door from the inside. UH OH!

At first, I thought it was funny. Papa, I think, felt a little different. Yes, for the first time in my short 18-months, I was left all alone in a room and no one could get to me. Again, UH OH!

I started to worry a bit as Papa worked feverishly to take the locks off the door and boy was I glad to see Papa after a few short minutes.

We had a big hug then a little laugh as we called Mama to tell her about our little caper. All's well that ends well I guess.

Until the next time :)

BTW: We finished the lights on the Christmas tree and put on the outside runway lights for Santa, too! They looked great!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)

LJ's BBQ Dinner Review

To celebrate the day after Thanksgiving, Mama and Papa took me out to dinner. We didn't venture out too far, going to LJ's BBQ in Pawtucket.

Why may you ask did we go? Well, as I was trying (yes, I say "trying") to take an afternoon nap, Mama was watching our good friend Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-In's and Dives" on the Food Network. Needless to say if you've ever watched the show, you're definitely in the mood for some good BBQ after watching some of Guy's tasty treats.

We got right in at about 5pm and the hostess and waitress were very nice! They brought me a nice high-chair and some crackers while we ordered our food. I got mac and cheese (of course!) while Mama got the pulled pork and Papa ordered a half-chicken. We all shared each others dinner so I got to eat alot :) It's a great menu with lots of good food.

My favorites were the pickles (I ate both Mama and Papa's!) along with the tasty corn on the cob. I had never eaten corn on the cob before, but as you can see, I REALLY liked it!

Not only was the food very good, but I loved the music as well. Here I am dancing along to Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."

I definitely recommend a night out at LJ's BBQ in Pawtucket, plus here's a little tip from Mama. Check out Restaurant.com to get a cool gift certificate for a very economic night out. We used it and all of us ate for under $25, including a slice of apple pie that we took home for dessert.

Until our next review, happy dining!

Hugs and kisses,
Abbie :)
